Friday night Continental High Softball relied on great 2-hit pitching from ace Gracie Homier and scratched together 2 runs for a 2-1 win at Bluffton. Continental got on the board early when Ava Homier crossed the plate in the first. A pitchers battle ensued as Bluffton scored the only other run till the 6th. Bluffton scored in the 4th to make it 1 all. Macie Clemens scored to put Continental up for good in the top of the sixth. Continental 2-1 final.
Ava Homier had a hit, scored a run and stole 2 bases. Gracie Homier hit a double and walked. Macie Clemens scored a run. Cheyenne Going had a hit and stole a base. Kimberly Grant and Allie Weller both hit singles. Kenzie Searfoss stole a base. Gracie Homier pitched the complete game win for Continental going 7 inning giving up 1 unearned run on 2 hits 1 walk and 12 strikeouts. Both teams made 2 errors. Continental improves to 10-6 and will host Hicksville on Monday. Bluffton falls to 2-10.
