Miller City – The Wildcats hit a buzz beating 3 pointer at the end of the first quarter to open up an 11-5 lead. The Wildcats then scored the first 5 points in the second quarter to expand the lead to 16-5 and led the rest of the game. Final score was Pirates 34, Wildcats 51. Leading the way for the Pirates was Freshman Wade Stauffer with 15 points while Gabe Williams added 8 and Joey Swager 6.
The Pirates take on the Ayersville Pilots in the Cove tonight (Saturday) and host Antwerp in a make up game on Monday.
