Lots of games this week but only 2 at home so get your Piratemobile gassed up and go, go, go. Baseball has a pair of Putnam County League games this week Monday at Ottoville and Thursday hosting Pandora Gilboa. The Softball team has one league game at Kalida on Tuesday. They travel to Spencerville on Saturday for a double header. They have a lone home game on Monday against Tinora. The Varsity Track team has their first big meet on Thursday at the Wayne Trace Invitational. The Junior High Track team is at the Patrick Henry Invitational on Thursday.
The Continentalenews would be remiss without acknowledging the passing of Pirate Softball Pitching Mentor Cedric Williams. He served as the pitching mentor for many Lady Pirate hurlers. Thanks to Coach Williams for the many hours you spent on the formation of the Pirate Softball Program and in developing the Pirate pitching staff. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
