Pirates Advance to Fostoria DIII Track & Field Regional in 4 Events

Saturday saw Continental High Track and Field advance to the DIII Fostoria Regionals in 4 Boys events at the DIII Ada District Track meet.  Leading the way is Grant Clementz placing 2nd in the 400M.  The Boys 4×200 relay team placed third with a new school record time of 1:33.32 besting the old record of 1:34.  The 4×400 relay team also placed 3rd to move on.  Brady Thomsen, current school record holder in the Discus moved on with a 3rd place effort.  Tyson Clementz just missed advancing in the 300M Hurdles as he placed 7th (top 6 boys were regional qualifiers).  Mackenzie Shock placed 7th in the Girls 100M Hurdles.

The Pirates placed 9th in the Boys team portion of the meet with 28 points.  Columbus Grove was District Champs with 137 points.  On the Girls side Continental placed 17 with 3 points.  Columbus Grove won the Girls meet with 133 points.  Both meets had 20 teams.
