On Thursday, the Pirates sent the Seniors out with a 2-1 win over Wauseon to finish up the regular season. The Pirates game will not be the last time the Pirate Seniors take the Continental Pitch as they will be hosting a Sectional Semifinal on Wednesday. Continental put in the only goal in the first half as Monty Rayle hit the back of the net off a Collin Davis pass with 12:#6 left in the half. Pirates 1-0 half. Braxton Stegbauer put the Pirates up 2-0 when he put in an unassisted goal with 34:28 left in the game. The Indians would cut the Pirates lead in half with a goal with 25:25 left. Pirates 2-1 final.

Konnor Knipp Williams picked up the win in goal for the Pirates. Knipp Williams made 3 saves in goal. Continental had a 11-4 advantage in shots on goal and 5-0 in corner kicks.
Continental improves to 11-4-2 and will host Lima Central Catholic on Thursday in a OHSAA DIII Kalida District Sectional Semifinal game. Wauseon falls to 8-6-2.
