It had been over 22 months since Continental High participated in Spring ball games. Both the Softball and Baseball teams went on the road for the season opener and although they went different directions the results were the same.
The Pirates Softball team traveled west to Paulding for a nonleague game. For Paulding it was the first game on their new softball field. The action was all Panthers as they too the Pirates 13-1 in 5 innings. The Pirates will host Antwerp on Thursday in their home opener.
The Pirates Baseball team traveled east to Patrick Henry. The Patriots took the Pirates 7-2 in the non league battle. The Pirates will host Wayne Trace on Monday in the home opener.
