If you left the game early on Tuesday at Delta you missed Continental garnering a big goal with with 35 second to go to take the nonleague girls soccer game 2-1. An evenly played game had the Panthers put in the only score of the game in the first half with 20:13 left in the half. The Pirates came out in the second half and tied the game with 26:34 left in the game when Morgan Dockery hit the back of the net. The Pirates would take the lead in the game with 35 seconds left when Abby Rue headed in a corner kick to put the Pirates up 2-1. Pirates 2-1 final.
Morgan Dockery and Abby Rue both scored 1 goal for the Pirates. Mackenzie Niese picked up the win in goal for the Pirates with 4 saves. Continental and Delta both had 5 shots. Continental took 4 corner kicks. Continental improves to 7-0-1 and will host Coldwater on Tuesday. Delta falls to 4-4.
