Only one game on the docket this week, potentially two, as the Pirate Boys Varsity start their tournament trail. The Pirates will play the last Sectional Semifinal in the OHSAA Division IV Elida District Van Wert Sectional. The #11 seed Pirates tip off at 7:30 on Wednesday against Putnam County League rival #6 seed Ottoville at Wan Wert High School. The Big Green took the regular game 44-29. The winner of the Pirate – Big Green game will take on the winner of the #4 seed Pandora Gilboa and #9 seed Miller City. Pandora Gilboa and Miller City will tip off at 5:30 on Wednesday at Van Wert. The Sectional Semi final winners will head back to Van Wert on Friday night at 7:30. Ottoville and Pandora Gilboa both claimed a portion of the Putnam County League crown.
