Tournament action starts out this week with the Lady Pirates opening up action on Tuesday at Paulding. The OHSAA Division IV Van Wert District has the Pirates playing in the Paulding Sectional Semifinal against Crestview. Last year Crestview advanced to the Division III Elida District finals while Continental advanced to the Sectional Finals at Bryan. Crestview is 14-6 and in 3rd place in the Northwest Conference. Continental and Crestview did not play each other this year. Crestview was seeded #5 while Continental was seed #10. The winner will take on #3 seed Wayne Trace who is 19-3 and co-Green Meadows Conference Champs. Wayne Trace defeated the Pirates 39-31 on February 5.
The Boys Varsity will finish off the regular season when they host Pandora Giloboa in a Putnam County League game on Thursday. This game will also be Senior night.
