For the first time in 18 years Continental High Girls Basketball is making a trip to the OHSAA District DVII Semifinals at Ottawa Glandorf on Wednesday. The #5 seed Pirates earned the District spot with a 47-40 win over #4 seed Delphos St Johns. The Pirates will take on #1 seed Miller City who advanced with a 64-3 win over #9 seed Lima Perry. Winner will advance to the District Finals in Elida on Saturday to take on the winner of #4 seed Leipsic and #5 seed McComb. On the Boys side the Pirates start their tournament journey this week. The #7 seed Pirates will travel to #2 seed Kalida on Thursday. Winner of that game advances to a District Semifinal at Van Wert where they will play the winner of #3 seed Delphos Jefferson and #5 seed Holgate.
