Tournament Time Boys Basketball Division! Continental will open up the tournament season of their schedule with a trip to Van Wert to take on Pandora Gilboa in a PCL rematch. In a OHSAA Division IV Elida District Van Wert Sectional Semifinal game on Tuesday the #11 seed Pirates and the #9 seed Rockets will tip off at 7 pm. The winner will take on # 2 seed Ottoville (18-3) on Friday at 6:15 in a sectional finals game at Van Wert.
The first time the Pirates and Rockets tangled was Tuesday with the Rockets getting the PCL win 44-33. The game was tied at half. It was the last regular season game for the Pirates while the Rockets have a Friday night game against McComb. Continental is 4-18 while Pandora Gilboa is 9-11.
