Only one item on the Continental High Spring Sports Calendar this week and that is DV Regional Track and Field meet where the Pirates will be in 6 events on Thursday and at least 1 event on Saturday. Thursday will be the Girls Shot Put finals starting at 4:00 pm. Thursday will also have the Track prelims and the Pirate Boys will be in 5 events with running events starting at 5:30. Saturday Girls Pole Vault Finals will be held starting at 11:00 am. Saturday will also be the Track Finals (top 4 finishers in each heat) starting at 12:30. The Regional Track meet will be held at Fostoria High School (530 Stadium Drive). The top 4 finishers (plus 2 provisional finishers who are the next best remaining in the state) in each event moves onto DV state Meet at Ohio State University Jeese Owens Memorial Stadium on Thursday June 4 and Friday June 5.
