For the first time in 35 years Continental High Volleyball is getting a taste of District action as they advanced out of Kalida with a Sectional Championship defeating Delphos St Johns 3-1. For the first time ever all 3 Pirate Fall sports teams will be playing in the Districts as the Girls Soccer defeated Miller City 1-0 for a Sectional Championship and the Boys Soccer team advanced defeating Archbold 4-1 for a Sectional Championship. District play starts on Monday as both the Girls Soccer and Volleyball open up play. Girls Soccer will take on Columbus Grove at 5:00 in Bluffton while Volleyball will take on Kalida at 6:00 in Van Wert. Boys Soccer open up District play at Defiance on Tuesday against Kalida. If the Pirates win, District Finals will be on Wednesday (Volleyball), Thursday (Girls Soccer) and Saturday (Boys Soccer). Fun fact all Putnam County League teams advanced to Districts in Volleyball.
