A pair of key games in the Putnam County League Soccer title chase highlight the schedule this week. For the Boys it is simple. They host Kalida Friday night and a win gives them at least a share of the PCL title. A loss or a tie means a lot would have to happen for the Pirates to repeat. Girls Soccer will play at Miller City for the annual Kicking Cancer benefit game. Currently there are 3 teams without a defeat in the title chase Continental, Miller City, and Columbus Grove. All 3 control their destiny as the Wildcats and Bulldogs tied earlier. A win places the Pirates that much closer to the title. Girls Soccer has a busy week hosting Coldwater on Tuesday and traveling to Crestview on Thursday. Volleyball says home sweet home this week as they have 3 games at the Cove as Perry comes in on Tuesday, Ayersville on Thursday and Delphos Jefferson on Saturday.
