
Pirate Mackenzie Shock scored a hat trick in the first five minutes of the Continental High and Lima Central Catholic girls soccer game. Shock staked the host Pirates to a 1-0 lead just 1:19 into the game. Shock added goal #2 a mere 81 seconds later to make it 2-0 Pirates. Shock picked up the hat trick with just 4:48 into the game. Pirates 3-0. Destiny Pier put the Pirates up 4-0 with 25:25 left in the half. Morgan Dockery would add goal 5 to the Pirates total with 2:31 left in the half off a pass from Shock. Pier added her second goal of the half and the Pirates sixth goal with 17 second left in the half. Pirates 6-0 at the break.
Shock would score her 4th goal just 2:45 into the second half. The Pirates would end the nights scoring with 17:09 as Raegan Clemens would hit the back of the net off a Shock pass.
Makenzie Shock led the Pirates with 4 goals and 2 assists. Destiny Pier scored 2 goals. Morgan Dockery and Raegan Clemens both scored 1 goal. Continental put up 46 shots (29 on goal) while the Tbirds got off 4 shots. Continental had a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks. Continental improves to 6-8-1 and will host Ottoville on Thursday in a Putnam County League matchup. Lima Central Catholic falls to 1-9.
