
On Saturday Continental High Track teams traveled east to take part in the 14 team Joe Tussing Invitational at Patrick Henry. The Pirate Boys placed 8th overall and were lead by Jonathon Etter’s 2nd place finish in the Pole Vault. Etter also placed third in the 110M Hurdles. Peyton Wilson and Tyson Clementz placed twice in individual events with Wilson placing third in the 200M and 8th in the 100 M while Clementz placed 3rd in the 300M hurdles and 5th in the 110M Hurdles. On the Pirate Girls side, Rhaegan Marshall continued her winning long jump season by placing 1st in the long jump (.5 inches short of 17 feet). Makenzie Shock placed twice in the hurdle events taking 4th in the 300M and 5th in the 100M. Overall the Pirate Girls placed 10th. On the boys side Lakota was the winning team with 108 point while Pettisville was second with 81, Continental scored 43 points. PCL rival Kalida took the Girls portion of the meet with 122 points, host Patrick Henry was second with 100 points, Continental scored 19 points.
The track team will travel to Crestview on Tuesday for a quad meet.
