Pirates Take a Pair of Thirds at Joe Tussing Inivitional

On Saturday Continental High had a pair of third place finishes to lead them at the 13 team Patrick Henry Joe Tussing Invitational. Bryn Tegenkamp placed third in the Girls 800 Meters while Elijah Mayes took third in the Boys 400 Meters. Bryn Tegenkamp was the top point getter for  the Pirate Girls as she was also part of the 4th place 4×100 Relay team. Jonathon Etter was the top point getter for the Pirates Boys as he placed 4th in the 110 Hurdles, 6th in the Pole Vault and was part of the 7th place 4×400 Relay team.
Kalida swept the Meet with 116.5 points in the Girls event and 113 points in the Boys portion.  Continental Girls placed 11th with 10.5 points and the Boys were 10th with 16 points.
The Pirates are at Hicksville on Tuesday for a Quad meet.
