Sports — It has been a while since the Baseball and Softball teams have won on the same day. But that streak ended on Tuesday as both team came home victorious.
Softball
On Tuesday Continental High’s Softball team traveled south to Delphos to take on Jefferson in a non league battle. It was all Pirates as the plated 19 runs to the Wildcats 3. Jade Zachrich led the Pirates with 4 hits. Amber Logan had 3 hits while Kennedy Hiltner had a home run. Amber Logan picked up the win the for Pirates.
Continental is now 2-6 and will travel to Columbus Grove for a Putnam County League match. Delphos Jefferson falls to 2-10.
Baseball
On Tuesday Continental High’s Baseball team traveled west to take on Paulding in a non league game. The Pirates prevailed 5-2 behind a 2 run Trevor Williamson home run.
Continental is now 2-6 and will host Columbus Grove on Wednesday in a Putnam County League game. Paulding falls to 4-6.
