Lady Pirates 50, Paulding Panthers 42
Continental served as the host for the non league meeting between the Lady Panthers and Pirates. Continental opened up to a 13-6 first quarter lead but then saw Paulding come back in the 2nd quarter to tie it up at 23. The Pirates outscored the Panthers by 3 in the third for a 35-32 lead. Continental added to the lead in the fourth quarter to finish as a 50-42 winner. Continental was led by Paige Ordway with 19 and Mckenna Scott with 12.

Pirates 29, Bulldogs 54
Before the rain turned to snow, the Pirates traveled to Columbus Grove to take on the Bulldogs in a PCL tilt. Grove started out firing early as they scored 8 of the first 10 points and never trailed after. Continental did get within 1 point (8-7) but after one quarter play, the Bulldogs had a 14-8 lead. Outscoring the Pirates 18-12 in the second, had the Bulldogs up 32-20 at half. The second half was all Bulldogs as they held the Pirates to 9 while scoring 22, final score Columbus Grove 54- 29. The Pirates were led in scoring by Tyler Rue with 9, while Gabe Williams had 7.
The Pirates are back in action next weekend as they host Ottoville on Friday in a PCL game and Stryker on Saturday.
