This past weekend Post 541 was well represented at this years American Legion Mid-Winter Conference! At this event our post and legion family have the opportunity to present donation checks for a number of great veteran organizations including Hooves, Operation Comfort Warrior and the Special Olympics! All in all our Legion family was proud to donate more than $7,000 to these great causes! Thank you everyone! David Slattman was proud to present these checks to the SAL State Commander as Chase Ordway looks on from his seat as State Assistant Adjutant!
Mindi Rue, President of Auxiliary Unit 541, made a donation on behalf of the Post 541 Family at MidWinter Conference, to the Auxiliary Emergency Fund. The $850 donation will go toward helping our fellow auxiliary members who are going through financial crisis. The donation was made possible by the proceeds from the auction at The Party Before the Game. Post 541 Family members, this is YOUR money at work!
