Amanda Held, Air Force Veteran and founder of H.O.O.V.E.S. was the guest speaker at the American Legion Post 541 Membership Ball on February 29th. The suicide rate among veterans is at an all-time high. H.O.O.V.E.S., located in Swanton, Ohio offers equine therapy to help service men and women heal, regain control and return to the life they fought to protect. Post 541 matched the donations collected that evening and presented a check to H.O.O.V.E.S. for $1,426.00. Thank you to all who donated to this great cause!
