This little Post in little Continental, OH is doing big things. This morning (really the better part of the last week), we have been preparing food to serve our Community Christmas dinners. We are packing over 300 meals to be delivered, at no cost, to our community and also to the Lima Fire Department where two of our Sons of the American Legion members and a Legionnaire are on duty. Thank you to all who helped and to HIS Kids and the high school and elementary school art classes, under the direction of Mr. Jake Palte, for the handmade Christmas cards that accompanied each delivery.
Pictured are the Legionnaires, the Auxiliary, the SAL, then our whole group of helpers. It’s not the size of your American Legion Family, it’s the size of your heart.
