As of 4:00pm Wednesday Feb 5th, Putnam County Sheriff Mitch Chandler had posted on the Sheriff’s Facebook page the following: “We are now downgrading to a Level 2. Drive carefully and please limit travel to only what is necessary.” A Level 3 went into effect last evening as snow was falling at sometimes an inch per hour. The snow stopped early this afternoon.
