Posted on the Putnam Co OH Sheriffs Office Facebook page on Wednesday, April 2 at 5:26pm: “We are receiving several reports of thefts from vehicles again. If it is going to happen like last year, the suspects will not stay in one area, so everyone in the county (and surrounding) needs to take precautions and be alert. You need to lock your vehicles and garages. This will be a big help in deterring the suspects. They are finding unlocked vehicles, inside and outside garages, and taking items from inside.
We are actively working on stopping this and catching these suspects. If you notice anything suspicious, please call the Sheriff’s Office right away so we can get someone headed your way to check it out.”
