Putnam County (OH) Relay for Life has announced many exciting changes to the traditional relay format for their 2015 relay event. Putnam County’s Relay will be held on Saturday, June 6 at the Ottawa-Glandorf Track & Field complex from 11:00am to 11:00pm. Although the Relay program may be different this year, the reason for the Relay has not changed – the fight against cancer and finding a cure. Cancer survivors will be honored with the first lap and the traditional luminaria and closing ceremonies will take place in the late evening.
Another exciting change to the event is the addition of a 5K Race – “Finish the Race” that will start 7pm on June 6. Area runners and walkers this is a great way to join in the fight against cancer!
The Relay is open to all – businesses, families, teams, and individuals. If anyone would like to form a team, its never too late! Go to relayforlife.org/putnamcounty for more information! If you have question regarding Putnam County Relay for Life, contact Jamie Orozco 888-227-6446.
