Continental High School’s Quiz Bowl team improved their record to 4-1-1 with wins this week in back-to-back matches. On Wednesday, Jan 22, the team faced Fort Jennings and won their matches with identical scores of 18-12. High scorers were Ian Jones with 14 and Trenton Berger with 10. Thursday’s match against Leipsic was a make-up match that was cancelled earlier in the season. The first match ended with the score of 20-11, while the second match had Continental winning 20-9. Berger and Jones tied for the high score with 14 each. The next meet is scheduled for Wed Jan 29 at home vs Wayne Trace.
