The 5th annual Relay for Life to raise money for cancer research will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Continental Elementary. The opening ceremony will begin at 8:45 at the “Tree of Life” at the entrance of the elementary building. The K – 6th grade students will be doing an all day rotation of events, which include survivor laps at the track, Minute to Win It games, a book sale, coin toss, rock and nail painting, “Pink Glove Dance,” along with various other activities.
The events will continue until 2:45. The community and cancer survivors are invited to join the students for the activities. If you would like to help with the events please call the elementary office (419-596-3860). We will also be taking donations for cancer research. Please drop off any donations at the elementary office on or before May 29th. Thank you for your assistance in this worthy cause.
