This Spring has had some extremely windy days. Please take a moment to check the condition of your flag – is it tattered, shredded or faded? It may be time to replace it. Memorial Day (May 29), Flag Day (June 14) and July 4th are approaching – patriotic holidays celebrating our country’s freedoms. How do you properly dispose an unserviceable flag? Your local American Legion Post will gladly accept your old flag and properly dispose of it with respect in their Unserviceable Flag Ceremony.
