Three games in four days is a tough schedule for any Volleyball team but to have to face two ranked OSVCA Division IV teams in that stretch is really a hard schedule.
Lima Perry 3, Continental 2
The VolleyPirates started the week on Monday by hosting the Commodores. Perry jumped out to a 2 game advantage 25-17 and 25-18. The Pirates battled back with wins in games 3 and 4 25-17 and 25-21. The Commodores took the final game 15-12 for the win. The Commodores are now 5-10 while the Pirates fall to 2-11.
Leipsic 3. Continental 0
The VolleyPirates traveled to Leipsic to take on the 11 ranked Vikings in a Putnam County match. The first game went to Vikings 25-15. The second game also went to Vikings 25-17. The Pirates toughened up in the third match but the Vikings pulled it out 25-22. The Vikings move to 9-3 overall and 2-0 in the PCL. The Pirates are now 2-12 overall and 0-3 in the PCL.
Ayersville 3, Continental 0
On Thursday the Pirates hosted #7 ranked Ayersville Pilots in a nonleague match. The Pilots won the first game 25-10 and took a close second game 25-20. The match winning game was all Pilots 25-3.
The Pilots are now 14-0. The Pirates fall to 2-13. The VolleyPirates are next in action on Monday when they host Holgate.
