On Tuesday Continental opened up their Putnam County League schedule with a home game against Fort Jennings. It did not take the Pirates long to get on the scoreboard as Morgan Dockery put in the first goal just 2 minutes into the game. Pirates 1-0. Dockery found the back of the net again for the Pirates with 29:38 left in the half. The Musketeers scored less than a minute later to make it a 1 goal game. Pirates 2-1. 2-1 was the score at half.
The Pirates took a 3-1 lead when Makenzie Shock converted a penalty kick with 43:28 left in the game. Shock would make it 4-1 Pirates when she scored wit 20:15 left in the game. The Musketeers tightened the game to 4-2 a little over a minute later. Shock would finish off the games scoring with a goal at 18:20. Pirates 5-2.
Makenzie Shock led the Pirates with 3 goals while Morgan Dockery scored 2. Mackenzie Niese picked up the win in goal for the Pirates making 2 saves. The Pirates had a 21-4 advantage on shots and 8-2 on corner kicks.

Continental improves to 5-0-1 (1-0-0 PCL) and will host Defiance on Saturday. Fort Jennings falls to 1-4 (0-2 PCL).
