
Sophomore Makenzie Shock, Senior Rhaegan Marshall and Senior Jonathon Etter all placed in the top 4 on Saturday at the OHSAA Division III Ayersville Track and Field District to join Sophomore Brady Thomsen in advancing to the Fostoria Regional. Thomsen advanced to Regionals on Thursday in the Boys Shot Put. On Friday Etter led the way for the Pirates by placing 1st in the Boys Pole Vault. Shock placed third in the Girls 100M Hurdles to advance on and just missed qualifying for the Girls 300M Hurdles by placing 5th. Rhaegan Marshall took second in the Girls Long Jump. Peyton Wilson placed 6th in the Boys 200M. The boys 4×400 Relay placed 5th and the 4×200 Relay placed 7th.
Shock, as Regional Qualifier, will be participating in the Fostoria Regional Day 1 in the 300M Semifinals on Wednesday May 22 at 5:30. Etter will also jump on Wednesday in the Pole Vault Finals at 4:00. Marshall will compete on Friday May 24 in the Long Jump at 4:00. Thomsen will compete on Friday in the Shot Put at 4:00. Top 4 placers in the Regional will advance to the State Meet held at Dayton Welcome Stadium on Thursday May 30 and Friday May 31.
