We’re excited for the upcoming Continental Community Garage Sale and can’t wait to see all the great finds!
To help spread the word and attract eager shoppers to your sale, we’ve created a dedicated Facebook event page for the event. We’ve already promoted the event to people in a wide radius, stretching from Bryan to Lima! We’ve also advertised the garage sales in the Defiance Crescent News and Putnam County Sentinel.
Here’s how you can take an active role in promoting your garage sale:
- Join the Facebook Event: Head over to the event page (https://www.facebook.com/events/1454673691822648/?active_tab=discussion) and indicate you are going to the event. Like and share the event on your own page.
- Post Pictures & Advertise Your Items: Share photos of the items you’ll be selling at your sale on the event page. This will give potential shoppers a sneak peek and generate interest! When adding to the event discussion, your post will initially be pending admin approval, but we will be watching for these and approving them quickly.
- Mention Your Sale Number: When you do post in the event’s page, be sure to mention your sale number. If you don’t know your sale number, you can find it here: https://www.continentalenews.com/the-continental-community-garage-sale-listings-are-here/45536/. This will help people reference your event post with the printed and online listings and map.
By sharing pictures and details about your sale on the Facebook event page, you’ll be helping to attract even more shoppers to your garage sale and maximize your selling potential.
