Who remembers that one thing you talk to your friends about after a baseball game? Yes, the dramatized movement made by the umpire when calling that strike or that strikeout. That movement that makes you be like woo or even bust out laughing. Those little things that make an impact on you and your kids. Adding to the fun of the sport. Super Fun Right!!
One of the biggest things, besides finding volunteers for coaching, is the need for umpires for our kiddos games. Is umpiring stressful that can cause some anxiety, yes that is true. The question is, is it worth that stress? The excitement the kids get out of being able to play this wonderful sport they love can potentially outweigh that stress.
