On Saturday Continental Junior High Trackster Brady Thomsen went down to Hilliard Darby High School to compete in the OHSAA State Junior High Track Meet. Brady had qualified for the State Meet by throwing 43’9″ at the Antwerp Invitational. The top 24 throwers in the state qualify for the State finals. Brady came in at 24th in the final state listing, this qualified him for State. The OHSAA State Junior Meet is one division.
At the State Meet Brady threw good enough to place 5th! A contingent of Pirate faithful met Brady and escorted him through town on his return. Congratulations Brady!
Brady was also the Putnam County League Junior High Meet Shot Put Champion. He is the son of Bill & Sara Thomsen.
