State Semifinal games this year are being held at neutral sites. Fortunately for Putnam County League fans a trip to Elida on Friday is all that is needed to take in 2 PCL teams working for a State Title. Columbus Grove will play the early DVI game against Minister while DVII Ottoville will take on Fort Loramie in the nightcap. If they both win on Friday night they will play back to back games for the State Title.
Columbus Grove advanced to the DVI State Semifinal with a win over Patrick in the Bluffton University Regional Final. Columbus Grove will to take on Minster on Friday March 7 at 6:00 at Elida for one State Semifinal while Rootstown and Fort Frye will play in the other State Semifinal. DVI State final will be on Saturday March 15 at 2:00 at University of Dayton Arena.
Ottoville advanced to the DVII State Semifinal with a win over Kalida at the Elida Regional. Ottoville will take on Fort Loramie on Friday March 7 at 8:30 at Elida for one State Semifinal while Magadore will play Waterford in the other State Semifinal. DVII State final will take place on Saturday March 15 at 5:15 at the University of Dayton Arena.
For those readers following Springboro, they will play on Sunday March 9 at 5:00 at Fairfield Arena. Springboro will play Princeton. The other side of the bracket has Rocky River Magnificat against Pickerington Central at Mansfield on March 9 at 1:00. DI State Finals will be on Saturday March 15 at 8:30.
