Vantage is proud to announce that the Avantage’ Salon will soon be open for business. The salon will be open from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and is operated by seniors in the program.
A variety of cosmetology services including hair care, skin care, manicures, pedicures, permanents, hair cutting and styling will be offered. Later this year, even more specialty services will be available such as ” Spa pedicures”, “Gel Polish”, “Paraffin Dipping” for extremely dry hands, “Tea Tree Experience”, deep conditioning treatment and aromatherapy. It’s a great way to have a ladies morning out!
Cosmetology introduces students to providing beauty services such as shampooing, cutting, coloring and styling hair as well as manicures, pedicures and specialized nail services to their clients. Students used advanced techniques to deliver a wide-range of skin care and nail treatments while gaining experience working in a full-service salon environment. Upon completion of the program and meeting the requirements of the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology, students are eligible to take the state examination prior to graduation.
Appointments are necessary for the Avantage’ Salon. Please call 419-238-5411 ext. 2003 to schedule your appointment. Please note that if school is on a delay, cosmetology services are canceled for the day.
