Boil Advisory Update: The samples that were taken to the lab yesterday are tested within 12 hours of being dropped off and then require an additional 24 hours of bench time before we can be given the official results. In the mean time, the village will being flushing some hydrants to pull fresh water from the plant through the distribution system. The same protocols will apply when it comes to laundry during our normal flushing programs.
In coordination with the Ohio EPA after receiving word from the lab that all of our samples around town had come back negative for bacteria, we are authorized to lift the Boil Advisory effective May 13th at 1:20PM. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
