PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Pursuant to Sections 4928.20(C) and 4929.27(B) of the Ohio Revised Code, the Village of Continental, Ohio shall conduct a combined public hearing for the purpose of obtaining public input on the Plan of Operation and Governance of the electrical aggregation program. The Plan of Operation and Governance include the following provisions: (1) service provided; (2) determination of rates; (3) opt-out procedures; (4) billing and credit; (5) switching fees; and, (6) participation in the aggregation program. The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio may suggest other provisions to the Plan after its review.
All eligible customers who receive electric service from AEP OHIO – shall be included in the Village’s aggregation program. If an acceptable supply offer is received and accepted by the Village, eligible customers shall receive an opt-out letter for the electrical program explaining the rate and terms and conditions of the program.
The 2 public hearings shall both be held at Village of Continental Fire Station Meeting Room at 102 E Elm St in Continental, Ohio on Tuesday, December 12th 2023 at 4:30 PM followed by 2nd meeting December 12th 2023 at 5:30pm.
