Last year the Volley Pirates had their season end in the sectional semifinal to a McComb team that finished as Division IV State Runners-up. This year the Pirates hope to build on a 1-21 record with a host of returning letterwinners. Highlighting the Pirates season is season opener at Patrick Henry (8/27) and home opener against Wayne Trace (8/29). The Pirates play in two tri matches at Upper Scioto Valley (w Miller City) (8/29) and at Hilltop (w Montpelier) (9/19). PCL wise the Pirates travel to Pandora Gilboa (9/17), Leipsic (9/22), and Ottoville (10/15) while hosting Kalida (9/15), Columbus Grove (10/3), and Miller City (10/9).
