The Continental High School Volleyball team finished the regular season with an 11-11 record following a 3 game sweep by Putnam County League foe Ottoville. Ottoville came into Continental for Senior night with a Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association Division IV #19 ranking. The Big Green showed the ranking was for real. In the first game Ottoville came out a 25-14 victory. The second game was more Green with a 25-11 win. A closer third game match would still fall Ottoville’s way 25-19.
Continental finishes the regular season with an 11-11 record (1-5 PCL) and will play enter tournament play on Saturday. Continental will play the winner of Tuesdays Miller City Kalida game. The game will be at Continental if Miller City wins, and at Kalida if Kalida wins. Ottoville is now 17-4 (5-1 PCL).
Congratulations to Alivia Homier on an excellent season as the only Pirate Senior. The Continentalenews Sports staff wishes Alivia the best of luck in the future.
