Volley Pirates – Noffsinger & McDougle on the Record Board!

Lady Pirates 3, Fayette 0 – Noffsinger Aces Record

Everything went right for the Pirates Volleyball on Saturday (8/24) when they swept Fayette and set a record in the process.  Aislynn Noffsinger set a school standard with 12 aces in the game.  It was the Pirates taking game 1, 25-11.  Game 2 was all Pirates as they dominated with a 25-1 win with Noffsinger serving 23 times.  The Pirates completed the sweep with a 25-16 win in set 3.
Aislynn Noffsinger led the Pirates with a record setting 12 aces.  Teaghan McDougle had 21 assists.  Macie Clemens had 3 aces and 3 kills. Kenzie Searfoss had 2 aces and 11 digs.  Brynn Thomsen had 5 kills and 3 blocks.  Brynlee McDougle has 3 kills.  Gracie Homier 6 kills and Raegan Clemens 6 digs.
Continental improves to 2-1 and will travel to Lincolnview on Monday.  Fayette falls to 0-3.  Continental won the JV game 2-0.
Lady Pirates 1, Lincolnview Lancers 3
Continental High Volleyball team rallied in the third game on Monday to force a fourth game against Lincolnview but the Lancers held on for the win.  It was all Lancers in the first two games as they took game one 25-15 and game 2, 25-8.  The Pirates stepped up and took game 3, 25-22 but lost a close fourth game and the match 25-23.
Teaghan McDougle led the Pirates with 21 assists and 6 digs.  Aislynn Noffsinger followed up her record setting 12 aces against Fayette with another dozen aces against the Lancers along with 12 digs and 2 kills.  Brynn Thomsen had 9 kills, 1 block and 1 ace.  Kenzie Searfoss had 15 digs.  Brynlee McDougle had 4 kills, 3 aces, and 7 digs.  Macie Clemens had 9 kills and 3 blocks.  Gracie Homeir had 5 kills and 3 digs.  Raegen Clemens had 1 kill and 5 digs.
DVII Continental falls to 2-2 and will host DVI Hicksville on Thursday in a non league match.  Lincolnview improves to 5-1.
Lady Pirates 0, Hicksville Aces 3
Thursday night had Continental High Volleyball hosting Hicksville in a nonleague game.  A tight first game went to the Aces 25-22.  The Aces took the second game 25-14.  The third game was closer but still went to the Aces 25-23.  It was not all bad news for the Pirates as Senior Teaghan McDougle claimed another spot on the Pirate Record wall with her 1318th career assist.  McDougle finished the game with 1331 assists.
Teaghan McDougle led the Pirates with 24 assists and 6 digs.  Kenzie Searfoss had 18 digs and 1 ace.  Aislynn Noffsinger had 3 aces, 10 digs and 1 kill.  Brynn Thomsen had 8 kills and 1 block.  Brynlee McDougle had 3 kills, 2 digs and 1 ace.  Macie Clemens had 9 kills and 1 block.  Gracie Homier had 2 kills and 4 digs.  Raegen Clemens had 10 digs.
DVII Continental falls to 2-3 and will travel to DVI Columbus Grove on Tuesday for a Putnam County League match.  DVI Hicksville improves to 2-2.
