On Thursday Continental High School Volleyball team traveled almost to the Indiana border as they took om the Edgerton Bulldogs in non league play. The Pirates opened the match in dominating fashion taking the first game 25-12. The rest of the match was a lot closer as the Pirates took the second game 25-21. The Pirates completed the sweep with a 25-23 third game thriller.
Leah Baker had 14 kills and a pair of aces. Amber Logan got 13 kills and 2 aces. Sydney Eickholt had 6 kills. Hannah Troyer had 15 digs and 3 aces. Alivia Homier had 9 digs. Jessica Stauffer continues her fine season with 35 assists.
Continental is now 9-8 and will travel to Columbus Grove on Saturday for a Putnam County League matchup. Edgerton is now 6-8.
