Lady Pirates 1, Patriots 3 (Tuesday)
On Tuesday Continental and Patrick Henry Volleyball teams had the fans sitting on the edge throughout the game as the Patriot headed home with the hard fought win. The Patriots took a close first game 26-24. The Patriots took the second game 25-17. The Pirates were not ready to end the night as they took the third game 25-23. A Pirate rally was stopped short in the fourth game where the Patriots took the game and match 25-23.
Rhaegan Marshall led the Pirates with 16 kills and 13 digs. Laren Williams had 7 kills, 4 assists and 3 aces. Delaney Bowers 10 kills, 13 digs, 3 aces and 5 assists. Macie Cordes 9 kills, 7 aces, 11 digs. Teaghan McDougle 17 assists and 9 digs.Continental falls to 1-1. Patrick Henry improves to 1-0.
Lady Pirates 2, Fayette 1 (Saturday)
All of last year Continental High Volleyball team had 2 wins for the season. In 2022 the Pirates have picked up win 2 in just their third game. On Saturday Fayette travelled South for the non league game. The Pirates opened up the first game with a 25-13 win. Game two also went to the Pirates 25-10. Pirates ended the game in game 3 25-12.
Rhaegan Marshall led the Pirates with 7 kills, Delaney Bowers had 6 kills, 7 digs, and 5 aces, Macie Cordes had 5 aces, Teaghan McKougle had 20 assists and Lauren Will had 4 assists.
Continental improves to 2-1 and will travel to Lincolnview on Monday. Fayette falls to 0-3.
