A full morning of Volleyball was on tap on Saturday at Lima Temple Christian as the morning opened with a Junior High match, then JV, and headlining the event was the Varsity action. It was all Continental in a hard fought varsity match. The Pirates took game 1, 25-17. It was Pirates 25-22 in a close game 2. The morning of volleyball ended at 3 games as the Pirate closed the match with a 25-20 win. Pirates 3-0.
Kenzie Searfoss led the Pirates with 9 kills, 23 digs, 20 assists, and 4 aces. Brynlee McDougle had 6 kills, 7 digs, 2 aces, and 9 assists. Brynn Thomsen had 15 kills, 3 blocks, 1 ace, and 4 digs. Macie Clemens had 6 kills and 2 blocks. Gracie Homer had 1 ace, 3 digs and 3 kills. Aislynn Noffsinger had 2 aces and 32 digs. Mallorie Barnhart had 11 digs.
Continental improves to 3-4 and will host Arlington on Monday. Temple Christian falls to 3-6.
