The volleyball match on Monday night at Arlington was back and forth with visiting Continental taking game 5 and the win. It was all Pirates in game 1 as they opened up with a 25-15 win. Game 2 went the other way with the Red Devils winning 25-15. The Pirates would regain the lead in the match by taking game 3, 25-18. The Red Skins evened it up in game 4 winning 25-19. A close game 5 went the Pirates way 15-13. Pirates 3-2 winner.
Brynn Thomsen led the Pirates with 12 kills, 1 block, 5 aces, and 6 digs. Macie Clemens had 14 kills and 4 digs. Gracie Homer had 4 aces and 11 digs. Kenzie Searfoss had 6 kills, 21 digs, 14 assists, and 2 aces. Brynlee McDougle had 4 kills, 12 digs, 2 aces, and 15 assists. Aislynn Noffsinger had 3 aces, 36 digs and 1 kill. Mallorie Barnhart had 13 digs and 2 aces. Becca Sullivan had 6 digs.
Continental improves to 4-4 and will host PCL rival Kalida on Tuesday. Arlington falls to 5-5.
