Thursday night had Continental High travel to Pandora Gilboa in a game in which both teams were searching for their first Putnam County League win. It was the Rockets that picked up that League win as they took Continental in 3 games. A hard fought game 1 went the Rocket way 25-23. Game 2 went to the Rocket 25-17. Macie Clemens led the Pirates with 12 kills. Bryn Thomsen had 8 kills and 2 block. Brynlee McDougle had 1 kill, 2 digs, 1 ace, and 13 assists. Kenzie Searfoss had 3 kills, 8 digs, 13 assists, and 2 aces. Gracie Homier had 2 aces. Aislynn Noffsinger had 1 ace and 20 digs. Mallorie Barnhart had 12 digs. Continental falls to 4-6 (0-4) and will host Hilltop on Saturday. Pandora Gilboa improves to 7-2 (1-1 PCL).
