On Thursday, Continental and Ayersville battled back and forth for the advantage in a non League Volleyball game at Continental. In the end Continental finished on top. The Pirates took the first game 25-18. The Pilots battled back to take the second game 25-20. The Pirates would take game three 25-15 to make t 2-1. The Pilots did not want to end the night at game 4 and took it 25-14. The Pirates would take game 5 and the match 15-5.
Mackenzie Rale had 23 assists and 3 kills to lead the Pirates. Madelyn Potts finished with 21 digs and 4 kills. Kennedy Hiltner had 18 digs and 10 kills while Tygre Troyer 8 kills 4 blocks.
Continental improves to 4-10 and will travel to Fayette on Saturday. Ayersville falls to 3-10.
