We are very sorry and disappointed to say the World War II Reenactment April 4 – 5 has been cancelled due to flooding at the AuGlaize Village. We will not be rescheduling this year due to conflicts with other events but we’ll be back in 2026.
A letter from the WWII Director:
I want to thank everyone who has had interest in our event, and that we are met with the same enthusiasm for WWII next year at Auglaize. This was a freak weather event that unfortunately has left the Village Swamped at an unprecedented level of water.
The decision canceling the event this year was something that we did not take lightly and so many things that we had planned that were special for this year was set in motion. This would have been the largest WWII event in Auglaize Village history. It pains me this year we were not able to set history in motion for so many families that love our greatest generation. Bringing WWII Reenacting to NW Ohio and so close to my hometown is a goal of mine that is unrelenting and I hope that next year we are back even larger than what was lanes this year
