Continental Lions Club 47th Annual Fishing Derby will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019. This year anglers will be fishing for catfish. Signal horns will sound at 1pm and 4pm denoting the opening and closing of Derby Day.
Breakfast will be served from 7:30 – 10:00am by donation – scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage and coffee. Lunch will be served at 11:00 am – hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks for sale. The Boy Scouts will be back this year also selling ice cream.
Over $5000 in prizes, give aways, and raffles! There will be a 50/50 drawing, raffle prizes and a gun raffle for a Ruger American .350 Legend. Bass Pro and Cabela’s have donated 50 spin cast fishing poles for the 3:30pm free drawing for kids, 12 and under.
