Liv Homier and Gabbi Young were prefect in serving and both had an ace but that was not enough against the visiting Hicksville Aces. Homier was 11-11 serving while Young was 10-10. Young was also perfect in setting 27-27. The big hitter for the Pirates (0-6) on Thursday was Ashley Kindelin with 8 kills. Aces pulled out the 3 set victory 25-13, 25-22, and 25-9.
Hicksville also won the Junior Varsity match. The Pirate Volleyball team next go to Tinora on Thursday for a 5:30 match.
